Acts 24:24 And after certain days, when Felix came with his wife Drusilla, which was a Jewess, he sent for Paul, and heard him concerning the faith in Christ.
25 And as he reasoned of righteousness, temperance, and judgment to come, Felix trembled, and answered, Go thy way for this time; when I have a convenient season, I will call for thee.
Felix trembled at the preaching of Paul!
Trembled: STRONGS NT 1719- thrown into fear, terrified, affrighted:
It is pretty obvious that Paul did NOT merely preach a message of “accept Jesus” or “ask Jesus into your heart”. Instead, we read that Paul’s message was of righteousness, temperance and judgment to come,
When Paul (the apostle to the Gentiles) preached of faith in Christ, his message to Jews and Gentiles alike was a message of “…repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 20:21).
Shouldn’t we preach the same message?
Acts 13:26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you feareth God, to you is the word of this salvation sent.
